Epstein Becker Green’s addition of a six-attorney health care team in Portland, Oregon, was featured in the Law360 Pulse, in “Epstein Becker Opens in Oregon,” by Emma Cueto.

Following is an excerpt:

Epstein Becker Green PC has launched a health care-focused office in Oregon with a group from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, including its former Portland office managing partner.

Epstein Becker said Wednesday that Eric J. Neiman, the ex-Lewis Brisbois Portland leader, partners Sharon Peters and Emma Pelkey and associates William Stinman, Eric Werner and Rachael Grey had opened an office in Portland, establishing the firm's first presence in the Pacific Northwest. …

Epstein Becker said that it was pleased to welcome the group and expected the new attorneys' practices to fit well with the firm's existing platform.

"We're very excited because they are trusted in their health care specialty areas by major health care systems throughout the Northwest, who we would like to bring additional services to," Epstein Becker Chair Mark Lutes said.

"These are folks that are comfortable and well-known in the health care industry, but who also see workforce dimension acutely," he said. "They are very knowledgeable about workforce issues for health care employers. That fits our profile to a T."
