Overview

Health care providers rely on attorney Annie Lucatuorto for support with their corporate transactions and regulatory compliance needs.

Annie assists hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and other health care providers with health care mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; state and federal anti-kickback and self-referral law compliance; and corporate compliance.

Annie started her career with Epstein Becker Green as a summer associate in the Newark office after having worked as a paralegal at a New York law firm. She earned a law degree, with a concentration in Health Law, from Seton Hall University School of Law.

During law school, Annie interned with the Office of the New York State Attorney General in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, where she performed legal research and drafted briefs in criminal and civil cases against providers that took advantage of the Medicaid system and individuals who abused nursing home residents.

Annie’s interest in health law began with her ties to a foundation for those with rare heart conditions. She currently volunteers as a community and advocacy member for this foundation.
