With a background in health care regulation and employment litigation, attorney Will Stinman takes a holistic approach to advising health care clients on regulatory compliance and guides them through employment disputes, from pre-litigation through resolution.

Will has handled employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters, as well as business and construction disputes. He emphasizes open communication and cooperative strategic goal-setting to achieve a favorable resolution of claims.

Will also works with health care companies and employers on regulatory compliance, ensuring that their policies, practices, and plans comply with the many laws, rules, and regulations affecting their business.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Will was an associate attorney at a national law firm and a member of that firm’s Labor & Employment and Healthcare Regulation practices. Previously, he served as a legal editor for a leading HR and compliance provider in the small to medium-sized business space, where he tracked employment laws from introduction through enactment and ensured that the company’s extensive library of laws, rules, and regulations was accurate and up to date. Earlier in his career, he was an attorney at a regional litigation defense firm in Portland.

During law school, Will clerked for the Oregon Federal Public Defender, externed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and practiced as a Certified Law Student with a major insurance provider. This diverse and often hands-on experience gave Will the experience and know-how to launch into practice.

Outside of the office, Will spends his time reading, biking, golfing, or, most often, spending quality time with his wife and their two dogs.
