Epstein Becker Green Launches Blog to Aid Financial Services Industry with Labor and Employment Issues
NEW YORK (April 3, 2012) – The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green today announced it has launched a new blog to aid employers in the financial services industry with the many challenges they face regarding labor and employment issues.
The Bellwether: An Employment Law Blog for the Financial Services Industry will provide up-to-date information about relevant employment, labor, and litigation legal news that affects those operating in the financial services field. Topics to be covered will include, among others: wage and hour, discrimination, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA"), dispute resolution, whistleblowers, executive compensation, ERISA, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, immigration, and international employment law.
"Many employment law issues in the financial services industry are unique because of the regulatory umbrella under which it operates. We envision The Bellwether as a chance to provide real value to the professionals who operate in this industry, by focusing on the employment-related issues most relevant to them and helping them see around the corner at developing legal trends before they explode onto the scene," said John F. Fullerton III, a Member of the Firm in the Labor and Employment practice in the New York office.
"We have been advising and representing domestic and multinational financial services clients on a wide array of employment transactional and litigation-based matters for almost four decades," said William J. Milani, Vice-Chair of the Firm's Board of Directors and a Member of the Firm in the Labor and Employment practice in the New York office. "We have an experienced team of lawyers who have substantive understanding of the financial services industry and are able to offer clients innovative strategies and comprehensive solutions."
