David Shillcutt, Member of the Firm, co-presents "Expanding Access to Contingency Management: Key Considerations for CM Implementation," a webinar hosted by the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health (IABH).

Contingency management (CM) is a proven health care intervention with demonstrated effectiveness in treating a variety of substance use disorders (SUDs) among diverse populations. CM works by providing monetary incentives for meeting treatment goals, rewarding individuals for changing their behaviors. Despite the strong evidence base for CM as an intervention to treat opioid, stimulant, and alcohol use disorders, it remains underutilized in many practice settings. This webinar will provide an overview of:

  • The evidence base and clinical model for effective CM treatment
  • Best practices and lessons learned for standing up a CM program
  • Using technology to make CM easy
  • Key legal, policy, and funding considerations for CM delivery
