Christopher M. Farella, Member of the Firm, will participate in the panel discussion, "Professional Responsibility in the Wake of a Pandemic: Ethics Still Matter," a CLE credit webcast hosted by the New York City Bar Association.

Understanding professional responsibility obligations is always a challenge but presents even thornier issues when the world is dealing with a pandemic. This panel will try to make sense of how COVID-19 has affected the ethical landscape and lawyers duties through a discussion of recent court decisions and ethics opinions. Among the topics to be covered are the implications of remote working, the duty of supervision, cybersecurity concerns, protecting clients' confidential information, the latest on disqualification issues and many more. The panel will welcome questions and comments from the audience.
