Increasingly, employers are adding new and unique benefits to recruit talent and retain quality employees. However, in the excitement to share these new and innovative benefits, certain information may be left off communications distributed to employees. While some of these benefits may be tax free to an employee, employers should review any employee communications about these benefits to ensure that employees are aware of any potential tax implications if they take advantage of a benefit.
