In somewhat of a contrast to Republicans, it isn’t uncommon for Democratic candidates to focus on labor. And Clinton has been no different, outlining with some specificity her positions on major issues such as a national minimum wage and paid leave.
The takeaway, experts said, is a labor plan that could look very familiar.
“When you look at the Clinton agenda, I think it’s very much fair to say that when it comes to labor issues, it would largely look like the third term of the Obama administration,” said David Garland, a member of the board of directors at Epstein Becker & Green PC.
