A blog post by Dean R. Singewald, II, an Associate in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management and Litigation practices, in the firm’s Stamford office, was cited in Today’s General Counsel, in “DOL Lawsuit Says Oracle Discriminates Against Minorities and Whites.”
Following is an excerpt:
In a lawsuit filed days before the inauguration of President Trump, Oracle America, Inc. was hit with a multi-pronged discrimination lawsuit by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), the Department of Labor office that oversees federal contracts. ... The OFCCP is also seeking to cancel Oracle’s federal contracts and debar it from future contracts until it remedies the alleged problems. “Simply put,” write Epstein, Becker Green attorneys in this National Law Review article, “there are millions of dollars at stake.”
The article refers to Mr. Singewald's post “OFCCP Sues Tech Giant Oracle Alleging Discrimination in Compensation and Hiring Practices and Failure to Produce Requested Records and Data,” published on Epstein Becker Green’s Technology Employment Law blog.
