Following is an excerpt:
Whipple previously served as managing director and chairman of Credit Suisse’s global human resources, executive compensation and employment law group. He’s also more widely known to New York residents outside the legal world for his work as a society reporter for NY1, hosting the local all-news channel’s “On the Town” segment.
Known for his prominent eyebrows, Whipple served as head of the employment law group at investment bank Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette before joining Credit Suisse in 1999. He started litigating employment cases at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in 1980, where he spent nearly the next decade, and now looks forward to the latest chapter of his career at Epstein Becker.
“Epstein was the right choice for me,” said Whipple, who besides being a lawyer and television figure is also a photographer and philanthropist. “This is a firm that delivers value to clients in the employment area of law.”
