Glenn Prives joined Epstein Becker Green PC in Newark as a member of the health care and life sciences practice, the firm announced Jan. 24.
He represents a wide variety of health care organizations, including hospitals and health systems, physician groups, surgery centers, laboratories, telemedicine companies, behavioral health centers, health care management companies, and health care investors.
“Glenn’s myriad of experience in health care and his extensive time spent counseling health care clients on strategic transactions will arm our firm with an additional, skilled resource as the industry and our team remains as busy as ever,” said George Breen, chair of EBG’s National Health Care & Life Sciences Steering Committee, in a prepared statement. “We’re thrilled to welcome a counselor of his caliber to EBG and believe his drive to help clients navigate this competitive M&A economy is a perfect match for our firm.”
Prives represents clients within the health care industry on issues related to hospital-physician alignment, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, health care information technology, integrated delivery systems, fraud and abuse, HIPAA, compliance, and the corporate practice of medicine.
In addition to his experience in health care, he also advises corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions across industries.
“I’m honored to join EBG’s team to support a community of lawyers that share the same passion for health policy and the industry’s evolution,” said Prives. “For me, joining a firm that has a focus on health care and extensive experience in M&A and regulatory issues is the best of both worlds. I look forward to growing my practice alongside EBG’s talented team.”
