Overview

Hailey Genaw* helps health care organizations navigate the complex legal terrain of the modern health care industry.

Hailey offers clients vital assistance in areas such as health care fraud and abuse, reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and transactional matters. Her clients rely on her to keep them updated on essential federal and state legislative and regulatory trends.

Hailey started her career with Epstein Becker Green as a summer associate, working on projects related to data privacy, life sciences, and emerging regulatory challenges. She received her law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she served as the Manuscripts Editor of the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy.

During law school, Hailey gained valuable experience across the health care sector by interning with a variety of stakeholders. These included one of the largest pharmaceutical trade groups, a leading health care system, and a health care strategy and business development consulting firm. In addition to the private sector, Hailey also interned with the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition, where she aided in investigating potentially anti-competitive mergers involving health care providers.

Prior to law school, Hailey spent nearly two years as an intern in the legal and compliance department of one of the nation’s largest dental plan administrators. Hailey earned her B.A. in Social Relations and Policy with a concentration in Health and Urban Policies from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
