Attorney Kristi Jacques' experience includes the following:

  • Representing employers in lawsuits, arbitrations, and mediations involving an array of employment law issues, including breach of employment agreements, restrictive covenants, compensation disputes, misappropriation of confidential information and trade secrets, raiding, and harassment and discrimination claims
  • Litigating cases concerning a broad range of commercial business litigation matters, including contractual disputes, intellectual property issues, securities violations, environmental matters, bankruptcy issues, and class actions
  • Prosecuting and defending appeals in federal circuit courts of appeal around the country
  • Conducting internal investigations and preparing employers for anticipated litigation and regulatory action

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Kristi served as Deputy General Counsel and Agency Chief Contracting Officer for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Housing Recovery Operations, which coordinates post-Hurricane Sandy housing recovery efforts. In that position, Kristi provided advice, guidance, and support to management and staff on all legal matters relating to the operation and administration of the housing repair program. Previously, Kristi was an attorney in the Business Litigation Practice Group of an international law firm, where she practiced complex business litigation and investment treaty arbitration. She was also a Law Clerk for the Honorable Timothy C. Batten, Sr., of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
