Lorrin Melanson* helps guide clients through the intricate legal landscape of today’s health care industry so that they thrive in this complex environment.

Health care organizations rely on Lorrin for assistance with health care fraud and abuse, reimbursement, health policy, and regulatory compliance matters. She also keeps clients informed about pertinent federal and state legislative and regulatory trends.

Lorrin was previously a summer associate with Epstein Becker Green, working on projects related to telemental health, life sciences, and regulatory issues. She earned her law degree and health care compliance certificate from American University Washington College of Law. While attending law school, Lorrin interned with the litigation team of a legal and policy advocacy nonprofit aimed at improving health care access for low-income and underserved populations. She also clerked with a membership organization of hospitals and health systems that participate in the 340B drug pricing program, where she researched and analyzed legal and regulatory issues concerning 340B and related pharmaceutical and health care programs.

Before pursuing her law degree, Lorrin worked as a paralegal at a presidential foundation, researching nonprofit regulations, lobbying restrictions, and real estate transactions and drafting various legal documents.
